Bank Of America Stadium Facts
Bank Of America sits proudly on 33 acres (13 ha) in uptown Charlotte, North Carolina and houses both the NFL Carolina Panthers and MLS Charlotte FC. Initially built in 1996, it was named Ericsson Stadium by the Swedish telecom titan LM Ericsson. in 2004, Bank of America seized naming rights in a $140 million, 20-25-year pact.
BOA Stadium Events
Alongside the Panthers and CLTFC, the stadium also hosts the annual Duke’s Mayo Bowl, featuring college teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and either the Southeastern Conference (SEC) or the Big Ten Conference.
The ACC announced on May 19, 2022, that Bank of America Stadium would be host to the ACC championship at least through the 2030 season.
